Bernard W. Dannenberg, MD, FACEP, FAAP.
Dr. Dannenberg is the Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
He is the first Davies Family Endowed Director for Pediatric Emergency
Medicine. He grew up in Germany and attended medical school at the Ludwig-Maximilians
University in Munich from 1980 to 1986. He completed back-to-back residencies
in both Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at the University of California,
Irvine (1990-1993) and Loma Linda University (1993-1996), respectively.
From 1996 until 2002 he was the Residency Director for Pediatric Emergency
Medicine at Loma Linda University. He is Board Certified in Pediatric
Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Nancy Ewen Wang, MD, FACEP.
Dr. Wang is the Associate Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She
attended Medical School at Stanford University and completed her training
in Emergency Medicine at the Stanford-Kaiser Emergency Medicine Residency
Program and completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at LPCH,
Oakland Children's Hospital. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Wang has a strong interest in decreasing
health outcome disparities in the pediatric emergency medicine population.
Her current research includes investigating disparities in trauma access
in the pediatric population in California. She is active in student education
and presently is working with an undergraduate student group: The Family
Resource Desk, the group provides information about community resources to
patients and their families. When not working clinically in the ED, Dr. Wang
loves to teach and practice International Health and Medicine.
Sangeeta Chona, MD, FACP.
Dr. Chona is the most recent addition to Stanford's Pediatric Emergency Medicine, having joined the Division of Emergency Medicine in 2005.
